Lucas Prata is no stranger to the radio airwaves and TV sets across the world.  His #1 rated episode of MTV’s "My Super Sweet 16" made him a house hold name instantly. At the same time his Gold single "And She Said…" went Top 40 on the Billboard Pop Charts as well as #1 on the Dance Airplay chart and stayed there for four consecutive weeks.  Screaming teenage girls from around the world have flooded the official Lucas Prata website www.lucasprata.com to know more about Prata and where they can find his music.

"Never Stop Dreaming" has been a catch phrase that Lucas Prata has been using for years.  Wherever he goes, whether it's a live concert or a charity event, Lucas makes it a point to tell all his fans to "reach for the stars" and "never stop dreaming".  When asked why he picked "Never Stop Dreaming" to be the title of his new sophomore album, Lucas replied: "After selling over 250,000 digital downloads of And She Said…, I new that I had to come up with something bigger and better.  Working on this album has been a life experience”.  He knew he had to take his music to another level to reach the goal he had set for himself when he started out.

The album "Never Stop Dreaming" features songs penned by Lucas as well as "Wrong Turn" by Diane Warren, "Stop, Let's Go" Toby Gad, "I Need You Tonight" by Andrew Fromm to name a few.  "This album has a different feel than my last.  This is a more mainstream driven album than before” says Lucas.   Lucas has grown a lot since his early releases and has gotten more involved in the song writing than ever before.  His new album features duets with Jeannie Ortega, George LaMond and Kim Sozzi that are sure hits for today's radio waves.

The first single from the album is titled "A Girl Like That" featuring the Pop superstar Jeannie Ortega. Already playing at several Pop stations around the country, is the perfect song to be branded with female products. It’s an energetic, feel good song sure to make any product a hit.

The Lucas Prata brand has been expanding.  2008 bought the debut of Lucas Prata – The Making of a Pop Star (Prata's own reality show) on the Zilo Network.  Fans outside of the United States who have heard of the show have written Lucas to make the show available online.  Currently the show is being shopped to major networks and will debut on I-tunes and other digital distribution sites soon.  Prata has also co-written a new version of "And She Said…" (“Just Say Yeah…) for Coca-Cola which will debut in Beijing for the 2008 Olympics. Coca-Cola will also launch a collector’s item specialty bottle embodying the Lucas Prata Logo.  This should blast Prata to another level for sure with the billions of people that tune into the Olympics.  It is set to launch at the end of May, so keep your eyes and ears open for another Lucas Prata explosion to take over the world.
